WE ARE AMBITIOUS FOR OURSELVES AND OUR STUDENTS We set high expectations and standards and strive to achieve excellence in all that we do. We are unashamedly ambitious for the students we serve. We want to provide access to opportunities within the classroom and beyond. We will continue to strive to be the best we can be. INTEGRITY IS ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING We treat others with respect and honesty. We take care of our environment and utilise knowledge and understanding wisely. We nurture our students so that they become young adults of principle and character who support each other in their quest for excellence. WE ARE COMMITTED
TO BEING THE BEST
WE CAN BE
We consistently deliver on expectations and go the extra mile to get the job done, approaching everything with a “can do attitude”. We constantly look to improve ourselves and our service, cultivating our knowledge, skill, and attitudes to achieve excellence.
KNOWLEDGE AND LITERACY MAKE CREATIVITY POSSIBLE Our schools, where students develop the literacy skills on which all further learning depends, cultivate creativity by providing a broad base of academic knowledge that students need to be properly creative. The knowledge we deliver is powerful in that it changes students’ perceptions, values and understanding. It encourages students to ask new questions and explore alternate explanations.

Change the World Conference 2026 🌍

What an inspiring day at the University of Worcester, where Year 12 students from sixth forms across our Trust came together to explore some of the most important social issues affecting young people today.

Our students had the opportunity to learn from leading experts, including:
🎓 Dr Gill Harrop, who led a thought-provoking session on misogyny and its impact on society.
🎓 Professor Robyn Platt challenged misconceptions and explored the realities surrounding immigration through an engaging myth-busting session.

We were welcomed by Michelle Clarke, Head of Law and Senior Lecturer in Policing, who shared how she is changing the world through her work and inspired our students to consider how they can use their own skills and passions to create positive change now and in the future.

Alongside these insightful talks, students also developed valuable life skills:
💷 Money Ready delivered practical workshops on understanding payslips, pensions and tax, helping students prepare for the world of work.
💙 Lara Power-Baker shared strategies for building positive mental health habits and developing resilience for life beyond sixth form.

The day encouraged students to think critically, challenge assumptions, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to become informed, compassionate citizens who can make a positive difference in the world.

A huge thank you to all our speakers, partners and the University of Worcester outreach team for hosting such an engaging and inspiring event. Together, we're empowering the next generation to #changetheworld.

On 23rd June, students from across the Four Stones Gateway Trust gathered at @kingcharles1school for the highly anticipated Trust-Wide Spelling Bee Competition. The event brought together talented Year 7 students who competed in a friendly yet challenging contest designed to celebrate vocabulary, spelling excellence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Participants represented their schools with pride as they faced a series of increasingly difficult words, demonstrating remarkable concentration, determination, and resilience under pressure.

Throughout the event, students impressed judges and spectators alike with their spelling abilities and composure. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as classmates, staff, and supporters cheered on the competitors, creating a positive and encouraging environment.

The Spelling Bee highlighted the importance of literacy, communication and public speaking. As part of the Four Stones Gateway Trust's commitment to developing strong oracy skills, the competition gave students the opportunity to speak confidently in front of an audience, listen carefully under pressure, and articulate their responses clearly. It was inspiring to see young people stepping out of their comfort zones, displaying courage, and celebrating academic achievement.

After a closely contested competition, congratulations goes to Evan and @kingcharles1school who successfully retained their title as Trust Spelling Bee Champions.

Following the competition, students had the opportunity to relax together over pizza, providing a valuable chance to celebrate their achievements, build friendships across the Trust, and reflect on an exciting day.

A special congratulations goes to all participants for their hard work, preparation and commitment. The event was a fantastic success and a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We’re so proud to share the amazing work our students have completed through a special business project with Morgan Stanley. Over the past few weeks, pupils from across The Four Stones Gateway Trust have been working with professionals from the company to design sustainable business ideas that help solve real‑world problems.

From reducing waste to improving community wellbeing, the creativity and confidence our young people showed has been incredible. They researched, planned, and developed their ideas, and then pitched them to a panel of local employers and entrepreneurs who were blown away by their professionalism.

Projects like this help our students see what’s possible for their future. They build confidence, spark ambition, and show young people that their ideas can make a difference, not just in school, but in the wider world.

A big thank you to Morgan Stanley and our local entrepreneurs for giving our students such an inspiring experience. And well done to every student who took part, you were brilliant.

More exciting opportunities coming soon!
