We’re celebrating #NationalVolunteersWeek by shining a spotlight on the incredible work of @langaraid, a charity rooted in the Sikh principle of langar, where food, community and compassion come together.
Across our Trust, they embody the spirit of Sewa, selfless service, from helping students understand Sikh values in RE, to inspiring them to volunteer by preparing meals for daily homeless food drives. They also support our schools in the most practical way, by sponsoring our breakfast clubs to ensure students start each day nourished and ready to learn.
We’re proud to celebrate their volunteers, their values, and the powerful difference they make in our community every day.

We are excited to be welcoming @elenicmusic to @laconchildeschool and @kingcharles1school this term, for what promises to be a powerful and inspiring visit, in collaboration with @innersparkuk.
A singer, mental health advocate, and digital wellbeing educator, Eleni combines creative expression with personal advocacy to help young people bring intention and resilience to their online lives.
Her “Mind Over Media: Scroll Smart” workshop is a dynamic and empowering session where students will explore how social media shapes emotions and identity, and how to make it work for them, not against them.

It`s Drowning Prevention Week next week, (13th - 20th June) and schools across the trust will be sharing the Water Safety code with our students. @4stonesgateway @rlssuk
Here`s a reminder.
Follow the Water Safety Code
Whenever you are around water:
• Stop and Think - look for the dangers, always read the signs
• Stay Together - never swim alone, always go with friends and family
In an Emergency:
• Call 999 or 112 and shout for help
• Float - if you fall in or become tired - stay calm, float on your back and call for help. Throw something that floats to somebody that has fallen in.

The team from Morgan Stanley will be returning to our schools over the next few weeks as students put the finishing touches on their pitches for the Dragon’s Den final.
We are delighted to welcome local business leaders from our community, alongside representatives from Morgan Stanley, to hear the students’ ideas. The panel will take on the role of “dragons,” assessing each pitch and deciding whether the business concepts are innovative, do they solve real world challenges, and are they worthy of investment!
We look forward to seeing the creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and hard work that our students have put into developing their business ideas.
