Local Academy Board (LAB)
Local Academy Boards (LAB’s) form the local tier of the Trust’s governance structure and act as a committee of the Trust Board.
Governors do not manage the day-to-day operation of the school. They do work alongside school leaders and the Trust Board to provide oversight, visit their school to gain first-hand insight, listen to the views of stakeholders, ask constructive questions and ensure that key priorities are being delivered effectively.
The Local Academy Board provides assurance to Trustees through the following key areas:
- Safeguarding
- SEND and Inclusion
- Standards
- Stakeholder voice
- Spirituality (at Stottesdon CofE Primary School only)
