Our Members and Trustees
At the individual school level, Worcestershire schools operate with a Local Academy Board (LAB), whereas Shropshire schools are governed by a Local Governing Body (LGB). For further details about LABs and LGBs, please refer to the specific school websites. Both LAB and LGB function as committees under the Board of Trustees.
The Trust Board holds the responsibility for the strategic development of the Trust and oversees matters that impact all the schools within it. Importantly, Trustees do not serve as representatives or delegates of individual schools; rather, their role is to operate at a broad strategic level.
The final level of accountability rests with the Members of the Trust, a select group of individuals who bring extensive experience, relevant skills, and unwavering commitment. These Members have the authority to appoint Trustees and amend the Articles of Association. They convene annually during the spring term.
None of the Governors, Trustees, or Members receive any payment for their roles.
We are currently seeking an additional Trustee. We particularly welcome applicants who bring strategic insight and expertise in primary school leadership and primary school improvement.
